Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Control System Programmer to play a crucial role in our team. This position will focus primarily on office-based programming (80%) with occasional on-site responsibilities (20%) to ensure the highest standards of system functionality and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities::

  • Programming and Development (80%):

    • Design and implement code for control systems based on final engineering documents, including drawings, scopes of work, and bills of materials.
    • Develop user interfaces that are intuitive and meet project specifications and user requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure alignment with all technical specifications and programming needs.
    • Test and debug code, ensuring that systems meet or exceed functionality requirements.
    • Maintain and update programming documentation and system logs.
  • On-Site Programming and Commissioning (20%):

    • Travel to project sites to perform final system setups, programming adjustments, and commissioning.
    • Act as the primary technical support during site visits, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting.
    • Ensure seamless system integration and address any technical challenges in real-time.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • High school diploma or GED; further education in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in control systems programming.
    • Proficient in C#, HTML5, and preferred experience with Q-SYS, Biamp, Crestron (Certification desired), Poly systems.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
